At Carson Elementary, I spent a moment with Dr. Rich Cansdale, Superintendent, Area 3, San Diego Unified School District to discuss A Visit from St. Nicholas, and the importance of successful partnerships with the community.With several other community volunteers, I spent some time with one of the first grade classes at Perkins Elementary sharing the St. Nicholas story. Hundreds of volunteers supported our schools by donating time and funds to make this event possible. It's never too late to get involved, so we reviewed some of the ways you can still help.
