Sue recently led a workshop with the San Diego Foundation discussing volunteer engagement in the current economic climate. Sue shares some of the strategies that can help make non-profit agencies more successful by engaging volunteers as part of the organization. For our many non-profit agency partners, Volunteer San Diego has a Brown Bag Lunch Series on January 21, 2009 at 11:45am. This facilitated discussion is designed for volunteer managers. The upcoming session will discuss how to develop a case for support of volunteers and a volunteer program in a non-profit organization.
